Below Milan's Piazza Oberdan hides the Venetia Public Bath an elegant and functional establishment designed by Piero Portaluppi, opened in 1926 and closed in 2006 after decades of neglect. Public baths, thermal spa, barber shops, manicurists, laundry, travel agencies and camera shop, which opened off a magnificent colonnades salon, all preserve intact che magic of bygone splendour in their furnisdhings, claddings and costly Art Déco decorations.
